- Recipient of travel grant from the Walter Mangold Trust Fund - awarded to students studying a foreign language, who are dedicated to promoting cross-cultural exchange and understanding.
- Undertook university units in target language alongside local students; Women's Studies: Issues of Violence in the Home, Peace Studies, Indonesian Grammar, Japanese.

- Participated in professional development for BRIDGE program by the Asia Education Foundation. 2022
- Assistant Head of House; assisted with pastoral care, 2022.
- Coordinated cross-curricular activities with the theme of Harmony Week. 2021, 2022
- As extracurricular, I worked with students to participate in Indonesian language competitions, and many students were successful in winning prizes. 2016-2020
- Supervised and guided student teachers for their interim practical. 2018.
- Promoted cross-cultural experiences for Tranby students by organising host families for visiting Indonesian exchange students. 2018
- Increased parent engagement in languages by improving activities on Languages Night targeted at Year 8 students. 2018
- Established an after school Indonesian club for the primary school students which was met with great enthusiasm! This helped many of the disengaged students become engaged again. Parents appreciated the extra time and care I invested in students who were struggling. Quote from a parent: "I will have a chat to him today but thank you so much for keeping me in the loop, I really appreciate your help and patience... he has gone from dreading Indonesian to loving it ❤️" 2016
- Development and tested a "gamification" model of learning in Schoology for Year 8 Mandarin students, which resulted in more than half the class enrolling for Mandarin the following year. This was developed in 2015, and implemented in 2016.
- Implementation of TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Storytelling) and gesture method to in Year 4, which resulted in increased confidence and increased, more accurate oral language output from students. 2016.
- Development of inquiry based programs, such as "Jangan Buang Sampah" (Don't throw rubbish) unit in Year 4 which focused on reducing waste and rubbish, and protecting the environment.
- Development of a range of 4 - 12 language programs aligned with Australian Curriculum, and International Baccalaureate.
- Establishing BRIDGE China Program with ShishiJinCheng Foreign Language School. This has increased engagement in Year 7 and 8 students as they found it meaningful and fun to Skype in real time with students their age from China. 2015
- Invited to present my e-portfolio at AISWA Graduate to Proficient workshop. 2015
- Established and developed Mandarin International Baccalaureate program at Tranby 2015
- Assisted in development of project of inter-school online learning community “Persahabatan Internasional Ning” between Tranby & SMAN5 Surabaya. 2012
